111004 – On Star King, Super Junior’s Leeteuk gives thanks to Kang Ho Dong

Early morning of October 4, Lee Teuk, one of the members of Super Junior, tweeted a comment to express his deep thanks to Kang Ho Dong: “Today I, as an emcee, successfully completed the first shooting of Star King. Thanks for all the supports offered by SBS President, Vice President, producers and writers. Of course I can’t leave out the other members and fans of Super Junior and the other guests who keep laughing and encouraging me to better preside the show. And my special thanks to Ho Dong.”

He added, “I know I still have much room for improvement. Please never hesitate to give me lessons and supports. I promise I’ll keep going on to be a better host. Thanks a lot for all of you guys.”

On September 9, Kang Ho Dong decided to resign from all the variety shows that he has emceed. That’s when Lee Teuk and Boom was given the chance to host one of the shows Star King. The first shooting was conducted on October 3, which episode will air on October 15.

Even though I have been on the show for 4 years, it will be a challenge. I am very nervous and worried. Aside from focusing and worrying about the guests, I will do my best. Leeteuk once again tweeted after the filming, thanking those that were involved, such as the producers as well as his co-MC, Boom. He also expressed that, “I am still lacking…I hope everyone can give me pointers and assist me. In the future, I will do my best to learn and be more hard working, thank you everyone! Fighting!”

Meanwhile, Siwon cheered on Super Junior’s leader, tweeting, “Today, young girls’ leader, Super Junior’s leader Leeteuk will be filming SBS’s variety show ‘Star King’ for the first time! Please give a lot of support and attention! I’m so proud of you brother.”

Upon reading the tweet, Leeteuk responded, “Siwon, thank you! As time passes by, we have to work even harder. Let us make our dreams come true! Let’s talk more when we see each other tonight. Thank you.”

First of all, I’m glad. I feel really good. Honestly, I was worried a lot about having training at KATC because of my injured knee. I’m sure I caught many other recruits’ attention, so that I can’t be look sick or having an issue while having training. My thoughts have been changed in a positive way after I got to have conversations with recruits. I will be fully responsible for my 2 years of service as a public service worker, and I won’t let two years just fly by. I will make those two years of service counted for my life. Lastly, I want to be shown up to my fans as a grown person.
